  • Lizardry-Currently on hold due to Covid-19

    - Lizardry!! In this drop-in program offered most third Wednesdays of the month in the late afternoon Veterinarian Dr. Shevy and special friends bring in a host of reptiles to compliment the museum’s permanent collection. Visitors are invited to hold the creatures and ask questions about the science of reptiles for casual hands-on learning.

    JOIN in LOOKING UP and paint a ceiling tile for the Children’s Museum.  $50 for a 2X2 tile or $100 for a 4X2 tile When you make your purchase online you can pick up your order at the museum’s front desk.  We’ll provide the tile, paint, and brushes.   Tiles and supplies can be picked up in the Museum’s entry, Mon-Sat. 10 – 5 Paint your tile at home, return it, and we’ll hang it on the ceiling.   Offer valid through April 2021 (possibly longer) *Rules apply-see website Looking UP post.     Children’s Museum Ticket

    Please read BEFORE Purchasing tickets: Tickets are good for the entire day of purchase and not just the one-hour slot.  You are able to come and go throughout the day just by purchasing a ticket.  Walk-ins are also welcome. Masks are no longer required at this time but are encouraged. 

    PLEASE understand our concerns and because we care about YOU the museum's staff is fully vaccinated.   Thank you. 
    Please note, that members will be required to show verification of their membership to use any Member-priced tickets. Infants under the age of two are free and do not require a ticket. *All birthday parties MUST be booked with Mr. Jim.  Please call the museum to book your party or email museummrjim@gmail for more information.

    *Tickets are good for the entire day you purchased them for (our open hours are 10:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 12:oo p.m.- 5:00 p.m. on Sundays) and not just the one-hour slot.  If you are unable to make it to your ticketed playtime, tickets are easily refundable by calling the museum at 906-226-3911.
